This unpretentious photographic and film studio is conveniently situated within Cape Town’s City Bowl and in the heart of the city’s creative hub at Buchanan Square, with its newly restored heritage buildings. It is in close proximity to legendary gear rental companies and production houses, as well as the foreshore hotels and the V&A Waterfront.
It is a heavy duty photographic studio that has been kept rugged in design to allow photographers to experiment with new concepts without being overly concerned, for instance, with damaging a glass house. After all, it is the Old Armoury building we are referring to, which dates back to the 1890s. It has survived a wild fire and has the scars to prove it!
The studio is also suitable for smaller film shoots, commercials and music videos, plugged or unplugged. The ground level entrance allows easy access, and yes, a Lamborghini can fit through the roller door.
