Formula 1 car takes on Cape Town minibus

The viral tongue-in-cheek video which features a Formula 1 car taking on the infamous minibus taxi, had social media enthralled about the David vs Goliath battle.
It was in fact former Formula 1 driver David Coulthard, who was in South Africa for the Red Bull Cape Town Circuit, racing against comedian Jason Goliath who was behind the wheel of the taxi.
Several of Cape Town’s streets were converted into a racing track for the promotional video directed by the Mother City’s Timothy Weyer with Deon van Zyl as director of photography. Here are some behind the scenes photos of how the commercial shoot unfolded.
