28th Encounters South African International Documentary Festival

The 28th edition of the Encounters South African International Documentary Festival kicks off on Thursday, 4 June 2026. This year, the festival will showcase a curated selection of short and feature-length documentaries, alongside Q&As, panel discussions, and community screenings in Cape Town and Johannesburg from 4 to 14 June.
