One-day Film Festival hits Hanover Park

The Roots Film Festival is hosting a one-day only film festival in Hanover Park, Cape Town at the First Community Resource Centre on Saturday February 28th.

Roots Film Festival is a community-driven, environmentally conscious film festival that champions reconnection with nature as a catalyst for addressing social challenges. Through thoughtfully curated screenings, engaging discussions, and creative activations, the festival amplifies underrepresented voices while cultivating meaningful dialogue and community connection.

This weekend the event will host panel discussions, a master class, networking opportunities, live
artist performances and screening the film Hanover Park: Our Home.
