NFVF brings forward PESP6 funding outcomes to August

The National Film and Video Foundation (NFVF) has announced that applicants to the Sixth Presidential Employment Stimulus Programme (PESP6) will receive their funding outcomes earlier than initially anticipated.
Instead of waiting until September, applicants in Streams 1, 2 and 3 will now receive their results on 15 August 2026, providing filmmakers and production companies with greater certainty as they plan upcoming projects.
According to the NFVF, the initial assessment and adjudication phases for Streams 1, 2 and 3 have been completed, with the due diligence process scheduled to commence on 13 July 2026.
The Blockbuster funding stream remains in progress. Pitch sessions for compliant applications will take place between 3 and 7 August 2026, with funding outcomes for this category expected in September 2026.
